Performance Skills Qualification

The Performance Skills Qualification Level 1 and 2 are intensive part-time course to fit around your part-time work or study or job search. Both courses will be delivered in a central London location.

Both courses are 18 days, 10.00am-6.00pm* over 7 weeks.

Week 1 = x 3 days
Weeks 2 – 6 = x 2 days a week
Week 7 = 5 days (including a technical day, and a dress rehearsal/performance day*  The course time is likely to change for the performance day).

Level 1 starts January 2025.

  • These courses will enable you to develop your skills as a performance artist.  Each level offers dance technique classes every day, taught by guest artists and course tutors. Both courses include an opportunity to perform in a live performance at the end of each course.
  • Level 2 will focus on a variety of roles that exist within performance.  If you are keen to develop more of your understanding of the role as a choreographer, producer, rehearsal director or company manager, we will be facilitating a space so that all learners can lean into a role a role they are particularly interested in exploring, as the company works their way towards the concluding performance
  • You can apply for both Levels if you would like to take part in both.

Creative Re Work has been extremely beneficial with developing my creative practise. It has provided me with the opportunity to have the time and space to create something I wouldn’t have normally had the opportunity to do. My tutor was extremely helpful in the writing, creation and rehearsal aspects of the project. The team as a whole are all very positive and helpful.

HOW TO APPLY?

To express your interest please complete the basic eligibility form and book a virtual 1-2-1 with one of our course leaders before the course starts.  If you have any further queries before booking, please contact us via the contact page.

Please note, you are not eligible for this course if you are in full time education.

In your 1-2-1 we will talk you through your course induction, confirm your eligibility and share the full schedule for the course.

**Deposit – This action will be explained in your virtual 1-2-1. You do not have to action a deposit until then.

**In some cases we may need to take a small deposit to cover the initial cost of registering you for your qualification. This is fully refundable on completion of the course and our advisor will speak with you about this during your 1:2:1.
