THE CREATIVE RE-WORK TEAM

Rinova is an employee-owned social enterprise with a long history of delivering innovative and effective funded provision, not just in London but across Europe. Our successful track record includes a wide range of international projects, which bring together partners from across Europe with a shared interest and focus on the Creative and Cultural Industries. Complementing this is the work Rinova delivers in the UK where the organisation has a long history of employability, skills and guidance work aimed at those wishing to enter or already employed within the creative industries.

Initially funded by the London Majors Office/GLA as one of the Majors Creative Academies, Creative Re-Work was set up to provide an innovative programme of support and guidance to increase the prospects of professional performance artists who are currently unemployed or economically active.

The Creative Re-Work brand has now been expanded to cover a wide range of creative programmes being offered across the Rinova companies. Our fully funded provision offers a range of interventions and opportunities for the benefit of aspiring artists, employers and community providers but most importantly for performance artists and creative practitioners, wishing to kick start or progress their careers.

On these pages you will find out more about our track record, current and future funded opportunities and in particular our London offers.

To find out more about our creative projects in Europe, check out the Rinova website, or take a look at some of our current initiatives, which include the opportunity for creative internships for those who want to work outside the UK through our funded EYE (Erasmus for Entrepreneurs) project.

Work Placements and Work experience

We had the opportunity to open our creative spaces to individuals who are looking to gain experience working within a creative organisation. A college student joined us for work experience, and we also opened applications for students on the London Contemporary Dance School’s MA in Performance programme to come and choreograph on the Performance Skills Level 2 course during their freelance semester.

If you are interested in joining us for work experience, please contact us via our contact form to enquire. For an opportunity to join us on a work placement to choreograph a piece on the Performance Skills Level 2 Cohort we will be opening applications at the end of the year ahead of the course starting in March 2025. The choreographic work placement is a developmental opportunity to work on your choreographic and leadership skills in a supportive environment. Your work will be performed in a London theatre space at the end of the course in April with a film and images of the performance.

Please see here some accounts from the individuals who joined us for work experience and work placements from the last academic year.
